Keystone Tower Systems and GE Renewable Energy Join Forces

Keystone Tower Systems, Denver, Colo., a manufacturer of wind turbine towers, and GE Renewable Energy, the wind turbine manufacturer division of General Electric (GE), have announced a milestone with the installation of what’s claimed to be the first commercial spiral-welded wind tower on a 2.8-mW GE turbine. This is the result of a multiyear collaboration between the companies to design and produce spiral-welded towers for GE wind turbines.
