Learn best practices in welding safety, including safety equipment, ventilation, welding in confined spaces, hazards, safety precautions, and safety specifications.
Career Readiness
Learn the basic steps of the hiring process specific to the welding industry. In this self-paced course, participants learn how to position themselves to stand out as top candidates. By the end of the course, they will be able to confidently prepare a resume for an interview and bench test. Participants will also earn PDHs/CEUs upon completion.

Scholarships
We reward passion through national, district, and welder training scholarships. Our scholarships allow students to worry less about money and spend more time honing their skills, getting industry-recognized certifications, and finding in-demand jobs.
Grants
Secondary and post-secondary institutions can receive up to $25,000 in grants. Whether you need new metalworking equipment, computers, or lab materials, our goal is to help you. Together, we can enhance and improve the welding experience.
Graduate Research Fellowships
We want to broaden the scope of who can participate in our industry, and we do so by awarding outstanding students financial support during graduate study.

AWS Future Leaders Program
The AWS Future Leaders Program develops the next generation of AWS leaders and aids in our continuing efforts to ensure diversity of thought among AWS membership. The program is available to AWS Early Career members and offers opportunities to contribute to AWS at the highest levels of governance.
